Hickory Corners, MI- On Saturday February 25 the Gilmore Car Museum in Hickory Corners (north of Northeast of Kalamazoo) is hosting “A Pint with the Past,” the first annual beer tasting and museum fundraiser. This will be the first public event held in the Museum’s newly completed Gilmore Heritage Center, which just opened in January.
Guests will have the opportunity to mingle in this new museum exhibit and banquet facility, which is fashioned as a turn-of-the-last-century brick factory building, and view nearly 150 incredible automobiles on display. There will also be vintage films showing in the Museum’s new state-of-the-art multimedia theatre and live music entertainment.
Gilmore Car Museum has teamed up with Imperial Beverage to provide samples from some of the most popular Michigan brewers including Founders, Short’s, Arcadia, Atwater and New Holland. The event begins at 6:30pm and will also feature brew-friendly hors d’oeuvres from Kalamazoo’s Central City Tap House.
“A Pint with the Past” is the perfect way to experience many different food and drink combinations while enjoying the ambiance of museum’s new Gilmore Heritage Center.
Tickets are only $35 each, and a souvenir Gilmore Car Museum logo pint glass will be given with each of the first 200 tickets sold. Please call 269-671-5089 or e-mail Events@GilmoreCarMuseum.org to reserve your tickets today!
