KALAMAZOO (Mich.)-The Black Arts and Cultural Center has been dedicated to sharing cultural arts with the Kalamazoo community for more than 25 years. As their dedication to youth continues to expand, they need the support of the community—the financial support.
The BACC is hosting its first annual Bowl-a-Thon to help raise funds and provide a fun activity for all ages. The event will be held from 6-9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 30 at Holiday Lanes, 2727 S. 11th St., Tickets are $15 each and includes unlimited games and shoe rental. Opportunities to sponsor the event as teams and corporate packages also are available.
A 50/50 raffle will be part of the festivities along with trophies and prizes. Trophies will be given for the Highest team average, Highest male bowler and Highest female bowler. For more information, call the Black Arts and Cultural Center at 349-1035.
