Sistas’ On the Move Seeks Participants to Day Trip

KALAMAZOO (MICH.)-Do you know, do you have, or can you think of any young ladies ages 13-16yrs old that is energetic, adventurous, inquisitive, who is open minded and may desire to step outside of their box by expanding their territories? A daughter, granddaughter, niece, mentee, or a neighbor?

Sista’ On the Move  is inviting them to take advantage of an opportunity that may challenge them to step outside of their comfort zone by expanding their minds and exposing them to a new, fun and healthy learning experience.

The organization is hosting a day trip on September 17,  Simpsarosa Stables (Grand Junction, MI ) which will include horse back riding, a lesson on how to feed and saddle a horse, a nature hike and a hot healthy lunch. They will be transported safely and in comfort on a B&W Charter vehicle.

This opportunity requires a short essay to qualify and must be submitted by August 1, 2011.

Adult volunteers are also needed.

Sistas’ On The Move is a nonprofit organization and is still in the process of seeking additional funds for this event. That stated; It would be greatly appreciated if you or any one you know could donate $12 to sponsor a young lady.  You can make check or money order out to Sistas’ On The Move and mail it to 1848 Rock Valley Dr. Kalamazoo, MI 49006.
