New team members added to Bronson

KALAMAZOO (MICH.) –Bronson Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, Spine & Scoliosis Center, welcomes Dr. Joshua Ellwitz to their team. Dr. Ellwitz is practicing with Michael Kasten, MD, and Steven Cowing, PA-C. He is board eligible in orthopedic surgery and received his medical degree from the Medical College of Wisconsin. Dr. Ellwitz completed his fellowship in adult and pediatric spinal deformity at the University of California-Davis. He can be contacted at 488-8355.

Melissa Zaccheo, DNP. comes in a new nurse practitioner. She received her Doctor of Nursing Practice from Chatham University, a Post-Master Certificate – Acute Care Nurse Practitioner – from Seton Hall University, and Master of Science – Family Nurse Practitioner from DeSales University. Prior to joining Bronson she practiced at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center and is an adjunct faculty member at Grand Valley State University. Ms. Zaccheo can be contacted at 341-7762.

Jelanie Bush, MD, joins the pediatric hospitalist team. She is board eligible in pediatrics and received her medical degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. Dr. Bush can be contacted at 341-8986.

The physicians at Bronson Pediatric Hospitalist Service are experienced pediatricians who provide high quality care to children admitted to the Bronson Children’s Hospital. These physicians treat a variety of illnesses, including very serious conditions and are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. They work with a variety of specialists to provide the most advanced care to patients.
