PORTAGE (Mich.)-Those interested in vital information on protecting their business name and other information are encouraged to participate in an upcoming workshop. “Obtaining Patents, Trademarks and Copyrights,” workshop will be held from 5:30-8:30 p.m. Monday, May 10 at Valley Family Community Church, 995 Romence Road, Portage, MI. The event is presented by Kingdom Business Development.
“This is a special KBD Power Session for all entrepreneurs in the Kingdom of God who have intellectual property such as inventions, witty ideas, writings, trademarks, designs, artwork, formulas, logos,etc. that need to be protected legally,” said Michelle Dunlap, founder of Kingdom Business Development.
Guest facilitator Attorney Hiram Peacock of Chicago, is licensed to practice trademark law in 50 states. He will also schedule free consultations with entrepreneurs participating in the KBD Power Series. He is an adjunct professor at the Joseph Business School. Also, included in the workshop is a brief presentation regarding “Business Insurance” with facilitators of Ron Jackson Insurance Agency.
