KALAMAZOO COUNTY (MICH.)-One girl finished the race on her father’s back. Another wheelchair bound girl completed the race by getting out of her wheelchair and limping across the finish line. Other girls came in hand-in-hand, their team had made it!
More than 2,000 girls and more than 1,000 community supporters participated in the 10th Annual Girls on the Run event held May 24 at Western Michigan University’s Waldo Stadium.
