Civic Theatre Presents: The Imaginary Invalid

It’s often said that laughter is the best medicine, and nowhere is that prescription more accurate than in this rib-tickling, all new adaptation of the classic hypochondriac. The wealthy Argan is housebound with every disease in the book. Lurking around are any number of quacks that are only too happy to (mis)treat him. Family troubles, including a money-grubbing wife and two headstrong daughters, only add to Argan’s miseries. Complete with original songs, satirical bite and the requisite bawdiness, this telling of the classic comedy gets an injection of 1960’s French pop culture. If you’re looking for a good laugh, this show is just what the doctor ordered! SEE THIS PLAY!

Carlson joked that no longer will long extension cords be needed for researchers to plug in their laptops. No longer will she have to be the “only college archive located in a swimming pool (the former school’s pool). SEE THE PHOTOS IN OUR PHOTO GALLERY!
