Auditions for All-Girls Media Team This Saturday, April 18!
Girls from throughout Michigan who are in grades 4th-10th, are invited to audition for a spot on the media team of the 3rd Annual Travel Writers Academy. Those interested in interviewing for the academy are invited to register by phone to receive an audition time on Saturday, April 18th at the Kalamazoo Valley Museum, 230 N. Rose St. in Kalamazoo. An increase in affordable health care, focus on healthy eating and exercise is leading to a longer lifespan for people in the 21st century. With that, Dr. Nadeem Mirza says we are seeing an increase in cases of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). Dr. Mirza of Bronson LakeView Hospital in Paw Paw, Michigan, is part of a national double-blind study with a drug designed to protect against neuron loss in the brain; therefore slowing the progression of the disease.
